Marla has many unique gifts, and she shares of these gifts willingly as a teacher, friend and loving family member. Marla is known for her love of children and animals, her musical abilities and her friendly, beautiful smile. She has taught elementary school for six years, and she is respected by her colleagues for her skills in fostering reading development, helping with children of diverse backgrounds, and for her devotion to her students. Marla is adored by her students for her respectful, caring, and loving teaching style. She also assists in musical education, accompanying the school choir on piano. Her spirit of volunteerism empowers those she touches. Her optimism and strength as a person give her family and friends faith in her recovery.
