Marla and Rob waiting for the IMAX movie to begin. The movie's subject was Jane Goodall and the amazing research work that she has done for over 40 years at the Gombe preserve and National Park, in Tanzania, Africa. Marla seemed to enjoy the movie thoroughly, and she was not bothered by any loud noises. Before seeing the movie, she toured the Jane Goodall special exhibit.
Linda Weeks, left, recreation therapist, and Heather Wilson, above, speech therapist, helping Marla board the Craig van bound for the museum!
Marla is joined by friend Joslyn Schoemer, left, who is the director of the new Space Odyssey gallery at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Joslyn gave Marla and friends a VIP sneak preview tour of the brand new ultra-modern Gates Planetarium, scheduled to open in June, 2003.
Heather, one of Marla's favorite rehabilitation technicians, and Marla enjoy working on ceramics in the therapeutic recreation department after dinner. All in all, a busy day!
