Taking a breather for some much needed oxygen before the final stretch up to the Pike's Peak summit.

Marla's back at Glacier Peak helping prepare for school starting again by doing some volunteer work.

Bob and Annie Brooks, and their collies, came by for an evening visit. They volunteered their home on Race Street in Denver for Marla, Mary and Leo to live in after Marla's release from Craig in April.

On September 13th, Mark participated in the Pike's Peak Challenge, the annual fund-raiser for the Brain Injury Association of Colorado. Brrr! It was 40 degrees or colder and snowing during a good part of the ascent, but spirits were high amongst all the hikers, since it is for an excellent cause. At last, Mark reached the summit of Pikes Peak after the 13 mile, 6,500 vertical ascent!

Marla enjoys visiting with the beautiful dogs of Mary's friend during a visit to Glenwood Springs.
