Marla and Nicole share a hug in Nicole's living room. A talented artist, Nicole painted the picture of the flower behind her and Marla!
Marla and Mary traveled to Idaho to visit Megan Fairfield at her home. Megan is Marla's good friend from college at CU Boulder.
Marla and Mary attended the Brain Injury Association of Colorado Conference, in Vail. Marla met a few friends there, including Steve, one of her buddies from the BIAC Breckenridge Challenge camp, which they both attended in the summer of 2004.

Towards the end of October, Marla traveled to Nashville, Tennessee, to visit her cousin Nicole. Nicole treated Marla to a manicure at the salon where she is an esthetician.
Upon returning from Nashville, Marla spent Halloween greeting trick-or-treaters at the home of friend Leigh, and her dog, Bandit.
